Your Impact:

The Contracts Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the management of contracts within our organization. This individual will assist in various aspects of the contract lifecycle, including proposal development, contract administration, compliance, contracts research for contract rewrites within our CRM tool, and subcontract management. The Contracts Coordinator will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of contracts and adherence to all relevant regulations and requirements.

What You Do:

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of proposals in response to solicitations from government agencies and other clients.
  • Support contract negotiations by reviewing terms and conditions, conducting research, and gathering necessary documentation.
  • Maintain contract files and documentation in compliance with company/government policies and procedures.
  • Track contract milestones, deliverables, and deadlines to ensure timely execution and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and program management teams, to facilitate contract execution and implementation.
  • Conduct contracts research within our CRM tool to identify contracts requiring updates or rewrites based on changing regulations, policies, or client requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of contract modifications, amendments, and extensions.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and obligations.
  • Assist in the selection and evaluation of subcontractors, including the negotiation of subcontract terms and conditions.
  • Onboard subcontractors, ensuring compliance with flow down requirements from prime contracts and relevant regulations.
  • Manage subcontractor relationships, including monitoring performance and resolving issues as needed.
  • Provide support for subcontract management activities, including subcontractor invoicing and compliance reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other deliverables for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about changes in regulations and policies related to contract management and procurement.


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in contract administration, procurement, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and contract management software.
  • Experience with CRM tools preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal regulations, such as FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement), is a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with change and excel in high stress situations.

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 76,368 in the lowest geographic market and USD 114,552 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
