About the team
Lenskart is looking for a transformational leader as part of the senior management team to lead the online business vertical in Singapore. This is a critical role for the growth of Lenskart given the expansion plans at hand. The organization is known for its technology-first orientation and delivering a class leading online experience is what Lenskart is known for. As an omnichannel business the online channel plays the most vital role to build brand awareness, product experience and 10x growth at scale.
The ideal candidate must possess a unique blend of expertise in running an online business with a working understanding of digital marketing and sales, strategy, product, alliances, user experience & design, and conversion experience. They will be responsible for driving the organization to a self-sustainable platform delivering the highest standards of user experience. The ideal candidate would have experience as a Head/GM owning category/product/tech, previously led both category and product functions or led their own online/ecommerce business as an entrepreneur/founder.
The role will be based in the UAE reporting to the Head of Middle East.
What your responsibilities will be
You will be responsible for driving and achieving Annual Business Plan of Online Sales by developing effective Marketing and product strategy
Develop and execute a vision and strategy for online and omnichannel experience
Localisation strategies and product to meet regional customer needs
Manage of team of diverse individuals to help scale the online business
Provide inputs for technology, newer products, marketing trends, and competitive insight into the business.
Analyze customer needs & insights, competitive offerings, user research data, emerging trends and technologies and provide direction for the product development
Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns for omnichannel experience
Devising customer growth and retention strategies across lifecycle to drive traffic to the online store & App and footfall to stores
Contribute to the formulation and execution of brand, product and performance marketing strategies across display, search and social
Input and hold responsibility for the budgets of the entire online business vertical
10+ years of experience in category leadership and product development for a digital or consumer-facing company.
At least 3+ years of experience in Ecommerce and at least 3+ years in South East Asia Market.
Passionate about Technology and the ability to understand consumer problems.
Strong Analytical skills and experience of web and google analytics in an online product management role.
Track record in successfully developing web and mobile products to improve conversion rate.
Ability to take decisive action based on professional, practical analysis of situations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
Undergraduate degree in relevant field
