What’s the role about?
You’ll be joining the Reiss as Girlswear Assistant Designer. You will be assisting with design concept through to final product presentation.
Who you are
- You will have a design qualification
- Experience within Childrenswear design
- Strong sketching and CAD skills
- Strong market and trend awareness
- Creative with refined taste
- Self-motivated and team orientated
- Strong communication and organisational skills
What you’ll be doing
- Researching into seasonal directions and trends suitable for the Reiss aesthetic
- Creating and updating colour palettes
- Working with fabric department to support design research
- Helping prepare presentations, meetings and sketch review packs
- Creating all relevant detail sketches and CADS for specs and presentations
- Working with the technical team so that all expectations of prototype requirements are met
- Working with product development on factory placement per style
