Front of House Support Manager

Job Summary: The Front of House Support Manager at JLL UK will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer service is provided to all visitors and employees. This position requires a proactive and organised individual with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. The Front of House Support Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the front desk and will be responsible for managing a team of support staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of support staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Ensure front desk operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in accordance with best practices and company policies.
  • Create a welcoming and professional atmosphere for visitors and employees, acting as the main point of contact for escalated customer service issues.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to optimize efficiency and consistency in front desk operations.
  • Coordinate and oversee the scheduling of front desk staff to ensure appropriate coverage during all business hours, including breaks and holidays.
  • Manage visitor access systems, including visitor registration, security, and compliance with company procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain office inventory, including stationary, supplies, and equipment, ensuring reorder and restocking when necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to address facility-related issues, including maintenance, repairs, and deliveries.
  • Resolve conflicts and handle difficult situations in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist in managing budgets and expenses related to front desk operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and continuously identify opportunities for improving front desk operations and customer experiences.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe work environment for all employees and visitors.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, including supervising a team and managing front desk operations.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and handle occasional weekend or off-hour assignments.
