Our Home is seeking a Plant Accounting Manager who will be responsible for managing and overseeing the plant's accounting processes and financial reporting. This individual will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making. As the Plant Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for various daily, weekly, and monthly financial reporting functions for multiple manufacturing facilities. You will supervise multiple employees at each facility in order to support each facility's accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop personnel, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge for their position
• Oversee, including posting and approval of, accounts payable batches to include proper three-way match, sales tax accuracy, and authorizations in a paperless process
• Oversee resolution of accounts payable items
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, month-end work papers, and other month-end duties as assigned
• Accurate forecasting of facility operations through coordination with FP&A team
• Back up plant accounting team duties as needed
• Understanding and coordination with corporate FP&A on related party transactions
• Analyze Profit Margins and Manufacturing Costs
• Managed Month-end close process
• Manage AP and AR processes
• Review and analyze PPV and Cost Variances
• Financial Analysis and automating processes
• Perform Bank Reconciliations
• Submit Ad hoc Reporting Schedules to Plant Operations Management
• Working with Operations team and Corporate FP&A to effectively and efficiently communicate activities of the plant to ensure budgets are being met and accurate accounting of transaction
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and minimum of 5 years of manufacturing accounting experience required
• Detail-oriented; proficiency for accuracy; dependable; positive attitude; team player
• Strong MS Office experience and proficiency with developing and using spreadsheets and/or databases
• Above-average communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and take ownership of assigned projects
• NetSuite experience preferred
• Ability to identify improvement areas and drive automation in accounting processes.
• Minimum of 3 years experience managing teams of 4+ members required
• Ability to travel up to 30%
