ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Abide by all Safety regulations and policies
• Must wear all required PPE for any task/job currently being performed
• Meet all production standards and efficiencies focusing on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost based on current routings/times
• Perform daily housekeeping task. Help maintain 5S standards in your work location and whole department
• Must be willing to work outside of your current Job Classification and Department as qualified and needed
• Maintain all plant production equipment and facility power systems
• Troubleshoot and repair all electrical controls and equipment
• Design and install new electrical systems and controls
• Operate and service PLC controlled paint conveyor systems
• Service electronic D.C. circuits and A.C. motors and control
• Design, plan, and install power supplies for plant equipment
• Rebuild electrical light fixtures and replace lights
• Repair minor electrical problems (receptacles, etc.)
• Make safety inspections throughout facility – looks for electrical problems and generates repair orders
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic mechanical abilities
• Basic mathematical abilities (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Organizational and communication skills
• Desire to learn new skills and improve knowledge
• Strong orientation toward:
o Safety, quality, and continuous improvement demonstrated by a work history of safe performance, accuracy and attention to detail in the work performed, constructive problem solving and suggestions for improvement, ability to effectively implement or respond to change, punctuality and consistent work attendance
• Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures, including those related to Safety
• Three to five years previous experience with an emphasis on machine troubleshooting and repairs (as opposed to installation work)
• Knowledge of PLC computerized systems
• Ability to read/design blueprints
• Knowledge of relay logic, D.C. controls
• Knowledge of safety skills around electrical devices and areas
• Understanding and awareness of national electrical code
• City of Allentown Electricians License*
• Pennsylvania state Electrical Journeyman certificate*

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Will be working in a manufacturing plant with varying climate
• Must be able and willing to work daily and weekly overtime as required
• Able to stand continuously for 8 to 10 hours daily
POSITION SUMMARY
As operational needs change, duties and responsibilities of this position will be subject to change and/or develop per management review.
• Able to lift, push and/or pull up to 33lbs individually and up to 66lbs as a team
• Must be able to handle elevated heights of up to 50 feet (for plant lighting systems and servicing overhead cranes)
• Must be able to handle tight spaces.
