Essential Responsibilities
- Masking metallic hydraulic fittings in preparation for subsequent surface finishing processes.
- Use equipment to blast specific surfaces of metallic hydraulic fittings.
- Spray painting of paint or dry lube applications to internal and external surfaces.
- Using flash cure and oven curing equipment.
- Cleaning of metallic hydraulic fittings using specified chemicals.
- Using inkjet marking machine to apply part number and work order information to hydraulic fittings.
- Sand blasting of parts in preparation of outside processing
- Deburring of hydraulic fittings with hand tools
- Cleaning and washing parts to prepare for internal processing (sorting, masking, shipping)
Position Requirements
- High school Diploma
- 1-year of experience as a silicone operator, chemical processing or general manufacturing
- Must be detail oriented and able to read drawings and basic work instructions.
- Stand, walk, bend and stoop most of the day as well as engaging in repetitive hand and wrist movements 8-10 hours daily.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, as Aerofit is an ITAR regulated facility.
