Your New Role…
Our Short Haul Drivers support the Flagship Harry Potter store operations, by driving store orders between our New Jersey warehouse and our Flagship Harry Potter store in the Flatiron district of NYC. Our goal is to improve support to the store, improving the frequency, efficiency, and timing of deliveries.
Your Accountabilities…
- Collect orders from our warehouse. Making sure trailers are efficiently and safely packed.
- Drive orders to the store in a timely and efficient way, making sure to comply with any local regulations surrounding deliveries.
- Deliver stock to store. Report any discrepancies to the Store and Warehouse Management teams.
- Responsible for gas and basic maintenance to vehicles. This includes any appropriate vehicle checks and records.
- Adhere to all H&S policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for colleagues and the public.
Qualifications and Experience…
- A record of safe driving with at least 6 months of driving history
- A valid driver’s license for NJ. Class A preferred, not required. If you currently have an out-of-state license, make a record of your license number before you apply for an in-state license. We will need that out-of-state license number to check your driving history.
- Must be able to drive a 26 FT M2 Class C Box Truck with a GVWR of 26,000 LBS
- Well organized and focused.
- Able to prioritize workloads.
- Works as part of a team with a flexible approach.
- Maintain minimal shrinkage through the efficient handling of deliveries.
