Trainee Development Advisor – The role:

You will support the efficient and effective operation of the London Trainee Development programme, working closely with the local Trainee Recruitment team, London Talent and Diversity leads, and other business professionals.

In this busy and varied role, your duties will include:

  • Supporting with new trainee onboarding, induction, integration, and ongoing professional development training
  • Involvement with the trainee rotation process
  • Helping to coordinate the trainee evaluation process, including working with associates and partners to prepare feedback, scheduling evaluations, and collating summary packs
  • Coordinating and conducing trainee development meetings, providing advice and guidance, and keeping a record of key information
  • Assisting with qualification assessment, and the placement of trainees as first year associates

Trainee Development Advisor – What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience within the Trainee Development function, within either the Legal or Professional Services sector
  • Experience in coaching individuals and those with people management responsibilities
  • A proven track record of developing trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Confident in building strong working relationships across the wider HR function
  • An interest in, and commitment to, DE&I across all dimensions
  • A commercial outlook, with experience of analysing key metrics to identify key trends and measure performance
