Learning Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Support development and enhancement of proof of concept cloud native web application
• Delivering capabilities into the application tied to requirements from the Tech Lead
• Advise solution team on software engineering best practices including testing strategies, performance tuning, and system architecture
• Demonstrate the technical background and skills to perform in all phases of software design, development, documentation, and implementation
• Provide recommendations to refactor and improve system capabilities and performance
• Other related technical duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications: 

• Separating from service within 180 days.
• Receive Command Approval for SkillBridge participation
• Must be accepted into the Hiring our Heroes (HOH) cohort
• Interest and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
• High school diploma or equivalent required and (six) 6 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to work independently or under generalized supervision with strong interpersonal and analytical skills

Security Clearance Requirements: 

• Individuals must be a U.S. Citizen and either hold an active US Security Clearance or must be eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance.  

Physical Requirements: 

• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
