Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Electrical / Electronics Engineer to join our team in the Manchester, NJ area.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Manage and support the acquisition and development phases of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) that ultimately leads to the approval / acceptance of the ATE’s hardware, software, and data end products
May Develop the Acquisition Documentation to include the Statement of Work (SOW).
Develop the system specifications and requirements and evaluate contractor design / development activities.
Review system requirements, design, development, integration, test and delivery of OEM ATE products.
Support the technical review / approval of the contractor’s hardware, software, and data end products.
Reviews TPS Software developed in Abbreviated Test Language for All Systems (ATLAS) and C++ programming Languages. ATLAS Programming language may be learned on the job.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelors of Science in Engineering
Must be willing to travel (Travel is minimal)
Must Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in two or more of the following:
Designed and Developed Automated Test Systems to test and isolate failures for Military or Commercial Avionic, Navigation, Communication, RADAR and IFF Systems (etc.).
Designed and Developed Military or Commercial Systems such as Avionic, Navigation, Communication, RADAR and IFF Systems (etc.).
Analyzed Electrical, Electronical, Power Supplies, Analog, Digital, RF (High and Low Power), Databuses (1553, ARINC), E-O, Fiber Optics, Ethernet, Fibre (GB Ethernet) military or avionic systems and circuit card assemblies.
Performed analysis of military or aircraft avionic systems data and determines the compatibility / feasibility of testing and repairing of these systems with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and associated Test Program Sets (TPS) (Software/Hardware/Instructions).
Supported On-site Integration Activities to include executing or observing integration testing, fault insertion & analysis, and review of logbook entries; or Witness On-Site formal Developmental Acceptance Testing to include contractor's execution of the Test Plan, Physical Configuration Audits (PCA), formal fault insertion, recording of test results (pass/fail), deficiency reports and final test reports accurately reflect the testing activities.
Preferred qualifications:
Knowledge of RADAR and IFF systems
Security Clearance Requirements:
This position requires a current/active U.S. government secret security clearance.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
