RESPONSIBILITIES:
Help define & oversee the Travel Solutions strategy and vision for EMEA, EMEA sub-regions and countries. Close coordination with the EMEA leadership teams: sales, finance, product, marketing, and head office strategy
Co-lead the bi-annual planning/budget process
Evaluates, oversees and manages numerous highly complex strategic projects and initiatives (Regional and Global) making ensuring they stay within the timelines agreed
Drive the EMEA Distribution Expansion growth initiative
Improve processes and implement best practices across functions and regions
Provides general management support in managing the weekly staff meetings, crafting and supporting the EMEA leadership meetings, as well as the sales regional meetings
Support strategically Joint Ventures to ensure they are focusing on the right areas and growing
Provides market intelligence, competitor analysis and trends, and share key developments & strategic implications
Support potential new market opportunities/business development requests and recommends mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, alliances and/or joint ventures
EDUCATION: Business Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
EXPERINCE AND SKILLS:
Ability to work in a highly independent and results-oriented environment
Problem-solving abilities with the ability to anticipate potential issues and suggest creative alternatives to overcome barriers
Strong analytical, strategic and financial acumen
Sound business judgment and critical thinking skills to be able quickly assess situations and opportunities
Ability to build consensus and alignment, and communicate and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization. The role requires close partnership and communication with Travel Solutions senior leaders. A strong team orientation is critical to success in this role
