The Opportunity:
As a scrum master, you’re passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that’s modernizing cloud services for homeland security. You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done. We need an experienced scrum master like you to create solutions that’ll support the homeland security mission.
On our team, you’ll coach a development team to their highest performance level, while ensuring the scrum project is successfully progressed. You’ll ensure scrum principles and approaches are understood correctly by the team and key stakeholders. Using tools, such as JIRA and Confluence, you’ll strengthen sustainable process improvements to help your team accomplish spring planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
In this role, you’ll directly impact the homeland security mission by delivering cloud services. This is an opportunity to grow your experience in IT project management while successfully delivering project solutions that will improve providing highly available and security cloud services in support of the homeland mission.

You Have:
7+ years of experience working as an Agilist, Scrum master, Agile Coach, IT Business Analyst, or similar role
Experience with setting up sprints, running reports, and creating queries in Agile management tools
Experience with facilitating scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Knowledge of Agile values, principles, and frameworks, including scrum and kanban
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with Atlassian Suite, such as Jira and Confluence
Experience facilitating scaled Agile ceremonies, including scrum of scrum or PI planning
Possession of excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Top Secret clearance
Agile, IC Agile, Scrum Master, SAFe, or Agile Coach Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
