As a cloud economist on our team, you’ll help to implement financial management and structure to enterprise cloud services for a large homeland security organization. Using data analytics, you’ll work alongside key stakeholders and other consultants to share your expertise and implement transformative processes and financial management.
In this role, you’ll directly impact the homeland security mission by translating business needs, processes, and procedures into a workable financial management construct. With opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing and collaborating as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

You Have:
4+ years of experience with IT strategy and system implementation
1+ years of experience in cloud economics and financial analysis
Experience with cloud cost optimization tools and techniques
Experience defining tagging guidelines to ensure appropriate categorization of cloud shared costs
Experience identifying and implementing cloud cost savings approaches
DHS Suitability
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience developing Cost Allocation models for Shared Services
Experience with cloud cost management tools, such as Harness CCM and cloud native cost optimization tools
Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Possession of excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
FinOps Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
