Autonomy Software Engineer, Lead

Key Role:

Performs implementation, regular problem solving, maintenance and support for agile software development to modernize systems. Applies leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Works on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decisions. Mentors or supervises employees in both firm and technical competencies.
 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience as a software engineer

  • 3+ years of experience developing and deploying software for Artificial Intelligence, or Machine Learning

  • 2+ years of experience with DevOps and automation frameworks, including Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Tekton, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions, to streamline the software delivery process in event-sourced applications

  • 2+ years of experience in containerization and container orchestration platforms, including Docker or Kubernetes

  • Experience working in an MLOps environment to deploy autonomy-focused software

  • Knowledge of Large Language Models, Natural Language Processing, and Computer Vision

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with communicating AI approaches to leadership and domain SMEs

  • Experience integrating DevSecOps or MLOps practices and principles

  • Experience developing and mentoring staff at all levels and building an internal capacity to deliver high quality and highly innovative analytics services

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
