UnspecifiedAn opportunity has arisen for a Repair Engineer within our Aerostructures Team. At our Dubai MRO Centre located in Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA), we are specialists in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft components. We require experienced individuals who will contribute to our success whilst upholding our reputation as a leading provider of MRO services for commercial aircraft for our regional customers.
Essential Responsibilities & Objectives
The main function of the Engineering role is to support the maintenance and repair of Nacelle components in the shop and occasionally at the customer locations.
Create repair solutions for damaged customers components and create shop findings reports to document all damages and repairs to support commercial and technical evaluation.
Define and prepare work scope requirements for subcontracting/outsourcing repairs.
Manage and provide technical support in the investigation, repair and overhaul of Nacelle Components undergoing maintenance at the facility.
Work with all levels of the organization to develop, communicate, and achieve tactical and strategic goals in all areas of the business.
Develop systems and processes which establish and maximize flow within the business unit.
Develop and maintain that technical instructions/planning documents, repair procedures covered by the Maintenance Manual’s, service bulletins, service letters, and airworthiness directives.
Provide support to ensure priorities are and delivery schedules are maintained.
Ensure continuous improvement of the products and/or services provided.
Experience / Requirements / Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Aeronautical/Aerospace in aircraft engineering with relevant experience in an engineering production planning, technical services or repairs engineering role preferred.
Experience in interpreting Blueprints and technical documents.
Experience with advanced composite materials.
Knowledge or experience with aircraft Engine Nacelle Systems preferred.
Strong understanding of relevant industry standards and specifications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with maintenance regulatory requirements (EASA, FAA, GCAA).
