Position summary:

The role of Working Team Leader will be to support the Core Build and Vacuum Braze cells of the company. The Working Team Leader will be responsible for coordinating shop staff & work to ensure customer demands are fulfilled.

Must possesses the necessary enthusiasm, drive and desire to succeed and discipline to achieve significant results for the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure all employees are adhering to the Company Health & Safety and Environmental policies.
  • Assist with real time problem resolution and troubleshooting issues as they arise without the direction of management
  • Monitor cell performance, maximizing performance from your team and equipment.
  • Effectively manage resource requirements in line with capacity models and demand rates
  • Must be an excellent team player and confident communicator at all levels.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Occasionally the Working Team Leader will be required to carry out tasks outside their normal reemit so flexibility is essential.
  • Carry out / assist with Tier 1 meetings
  • Carry out return to work interviews
  • Releasing work orders as required
  • Adherence to TPM activity, plan to minimise downtime
  • Assist with resource / capacity & skills matrix reviews

Minimum Requirements:

Apprentice trained City & Guilds or equivalent / time served experience with minimum 5 years’ industry experience Leadership skills (advantageous) Excellent communication skills Organization abilities Computer skills preferred

This position may involve access to export controlled information and hardware where an export license would be required for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Employment will be subject to satisfactory security checks, export license approval, and if required, completion of a non-disclosure agreement.
