Franchise Development Manager at Centrica

We have two fantastic new opportunities for Franchise Business Development Managers to join our Dyno team. In this role, you will be providing business support and coaching across a portfolio of Franchisee offices. You will need to be able to motivate, support, and challenge Franchise owners to take on new ideas that will sustain growth whilst helping them build their business, ensuring long term profitability.

Location: With our Flexible First working arrangements we empower our colleagues to work in a way that best suits them – meaning location doesn’t need to be a barrier. This role can be mostly based at home but with flexibility required to travel as needed to attend meetings and meet with Franchisees. We are looking for a Franchise Business Development Manager who can cover the north of the country and a Franchise Business Development Manager who can cover the south of the country.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Set up and monitor Franchisees business plans.
  • Support of new Franchisees in their first 12 months.
  • Prepare with Franchisees business plans taking into consideration the point in the Franchisee life cycle, e, g. new start, exiting network.
  • Build strong working relationships with Franchisees in your region.
  • Ensure Franchises have the right resource levels in place to deliver their Dyno Direct Revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships within the Dyno wider leadership team to help deliver the targets of the business.
  • Support New Growth initiatives and their adoption within the Franchisee Business plans.
  • Lead Quarterly Franchise Business plan reviews with franchises within your region. 

Who are we looking for?

  • Understanding of Franchise business model.
  • Strong Commercial & business acumen.
  • Understanding of preparation and execution of Business Plans.
  • Financial acumen i.e. able to prepare P & L, Cashflow Forecasts.
  • Influencing key external stakeholders.
  • Influence and negotiation skills.
  • Experience of running a business would be desirable.
  • QFP qualification is desirable.
