Job Description

Role overview 

Managing and overseeing the successful onboarding, transitioning, and restructuring of new and existing client’s assets, including end to end project management, data migration and data analysis. This role is a project related 21 month fixed term contract. 

What you'll be doing

  • End to end planning of the transfer of assets into LGIM and overseeing the transfer throughout the project.
  • Working with specialist LGIM teams to plan and transact co-ordinated re-registration of units from LGIM and third-party managers, in-specie transfers, pre-funding and restructuring of assets.
  • Accurately capturing the client’s requirements around fund set-up, transfer activity and hand offs to third party administrators, as well as creating and managing transition plans in co-operation with internal teams.
  • Working with internal specialists to analyse member data, instruct unit deals and reconcile post transfer.
  • Providing clients with all relevant documentation: new policy, stock transfer forms, letters of instruction and indemnity documents.  
  • Project managing restructuring of assets for pre-existing clients.
  • Providing consultants and clients with information post transfer, including a summary of calculations performed during a transition that illustrate the asset journey of a member’s assets.
  • Being involved in future process developments/enhancements, ensuring effective and scalable processes are in place. This will include seeking regular feedback from clients with an aim to improve client experience.

 

Qualifications

  • This role will require an individual with a strong background in planning and experience of asset transfers who can communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, clients, third party fund managers & ceding platform providers/administrators.
  • Project planning and trade execution around asset transitions for DC pension schemes
  • Demonstrable experience in performing trading reconciliations
  • Excellent data analysis skills and attention to detail
  • Experience communicating with clients and consultants
  • Strong knowledge of excel
  • Strong focus on detail, problem solving and comfortable working on complex projects
  • Highly organised and proactive
