Job Description

We are looking to add a Performance Analyst within Legal and General Investment Management’s (LGIM's) Performance department.

This is a great opportunity to learn and gain experience in the following areas.

  • Experience using cutting edge investment performance systems such as B-One.
  • Experience of multi-asset, equity (index and active), and fixed income performance analysis.
  • Build knowledge in investment management and all of LGIM’s products.

What you'll be doing 

  • Using B-One and other in-house performance systems/spreadsheets to calculate performance and attribution.
  • Completing all tasks within agreed deadlines, ensuring appropriate procedures and controls are adhered to and all reporting is independently checked before distribution.
  • Continually seeking to understand and satisfy our client’s requirements. Developing procedures, processes and systems to support these requirements.
  • Assisting with any new developments/projects to improve efficiency/productivity and raise the profile of the Performance team.
  • Maintaining threshold competency status in line with regulatory guidelines as required.
  • Disseminating knowledge via presentations to the wider team and various departments in LGIM.
  • Enhancing current reporting process by using various coding languages Excel/VBA/SQL/Python etc 

Qualifications

Core Competencies:

  • An Enthusiastic and proactive approach.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem solving & analytical skills.
  • Highly numerate with good attention to detail
  • Investment Management industry knowledge

The below experiences are desirable but non-essential:

  • Experience of multi-asset, equity (index and active), and fixed income performance analysis.
  • Degree, preferably in subject with mathematical content
  • Experience of B-One performance system 
  • Experience with VBA/SQL.
  • Investment related qualification (IMC, CFA, CIPM etc)
