The Product Strategy & Development team is a sub-team of Product, responsible for all aspects of product strategy and development of LGIM’s funds and products. Their purpose is to design, deliver and management a client-centric offering, enable achievement of LGIM’s overall commercial strategy, and to ensure LGIM’s product activity is in line with regulatory standards and LGIM’s Product Process.
The role holder will be responsible for supporting the product development and management strategy, as well as personally delivering implementation of new funds, to support LGIM’s Multi Asset & Solutions teams growth ambitions.
The role holder will have line management responsibility for a small team of Product Developers responsible for Multi Asset & Solutions funds, supporting work allocation, prioritisation, learning and development of the members of their team. They will be a member of the management team of Product Strategy & Development, supporting the Head of Product Strategy & Development in the effective day to day running of the team.
The role holder will be the primary point of contact for Multi Asset & Solutions projects working closely with Investments, Distribution and other teams such as Risk, Compliance and Operations, to develop product strategy and management plans for Multi Asset & Solutions as well as designing, delivering and maintaining a robust product offering in conjunction with asset class and vehicle leads within Product. The role holder will also ensure that there is effective market intelligence and customer insights feeding into product strategy and design.
In this role, there is an expectation that the individual will present at product governance committees, LGIM committees and LGIM or fund boards from time to time. The role may also require the role holder to chair or lead committees or groups in support of LGIM’s governance.
