Job Description

Role overview 

The Client Reporting Group within Client Services Operations sits under the Distribution channel of Legal & Generals’ Investment Management business (LGIM).

The Reporting Group delivers client and fund reporting services across global mandates and client bases. This role sits within a team tasked with providing first class consolidating reporting activities through the production of a diverse suite of reports covering the full range of LGIM’s investment capabilities and platforms.  

Responsibilities 

Within our client focused reporting team the candidate will be expected to interact directly with clients/consultants. They will be required to have a good understanding of the data, systems and mandates we run, working alongside the reporting teams in London, Dublin and varying other teams within LGIM. The Team Leader will also be responsible for the following:

  • Owning and managing end to end production and delivery of daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly client deliverables and reports, ensuring they are delivered accurate and in a timely manner, deliverables include;
    • Investment reports
    • Fund reports
    • Regulatory/Audit reporting
    • Ad-hoc requests/regular tasks
  • Owning, collating and delivering data to clients, consultants, and research and fund platforms, ensuring services are delivered within agreed SLA guidelines, and in compliance with relevant regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
  • Providing data to internal and external parties, the day to day production of our DB/DC Platform, PMC, OEIC, SICAV,ICAV and Unit Trust range; including fund data factsheet and key investor information alongside full involvement of the implementation of new issues. Full reporting on fund ratings and peer group analysis, alongside monitoring competitors and regulatory requirements in Europe, Middle East and Asia, Japan.
  • Understanding systems, data and associated processes, procedures and controls to ensure the accuracy, quality and timeliness of reports and data provided.
  • Demonstrating a good standard of Investment Management technical knowledge and an understanding of LGIM’s products, brand, competitors and clients.
  • Working with areas of expertise around the business to project manage ad-hoc queries, data requests and client change, through to completion in line with client expectations
  • Promoting flexibility; ensuring individuals within the team are trained and, where necessary, up-skilled to support the wider LGIM Hove CSO network.
  • Adhering to and reviewing procedures, controls and processes, updating process documentation and completing controls and error logs where required”, looking after our clients best interests whilst looking to mitigate risk

Qualifications

  • Experience of working within the investment management including providing an exceptional level of client service and support to clients
  • Previous experience in production of Reporting outputs to various stakeholders Internal / External clients (not necessarily in the Investment Management industry)
  • A track record of dealing with external and internal clients, building significant relationships with contacts up to and including senior levels
  • Significant attention to detail and able to demonstrate high levels of accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Strong workflow management experience
  • Must possess a good level of business ‘gravitas’
  • Proficient IT skills, primarily with MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good academic background, preferably Degree qualified
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
