The Digital Healthcare Group in Cambridges (UK) is looking for an experienced Biological Scientist to lead testing of sensors in blood within their new testing laboratory.
Responsibilities:
The position is a hands-on role with the support of senior engineers and scientists.
Responsibilities include:
• Blood manipulation
• Sensor testing aqueous/blood
• Data collection
• Record Keeping and report writing
• WI/SOP generation
• Participate in technical team discussions and problem-solving exercises
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum - A level Science possible Science Degree
Required Skills:
• Good problem solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to work with blood and associated materials
• Ability to work in collaborative and team focused environment.
Willingness to learn
The following are not essential but would be advantageous:
• Experience in electrochemistry
• Industry specific experience in one or more medical technology sectors (e.g. surgical, pharma, biotech, life sciences)
• Familiarity of working within a regulated environment e.g. ISO 13485
