The Software Engineering & Solutions team is seeking a software engineering intern with an interest in Embedded Systems, Linux Kernel developing/drivers, Yocto build system and open-source practices to join us in central Edinburgh, UK. The role will involve developing Linux solutions for our heterogeneous, multi-core ARM/DSP SoC’s, designing and implementing concepts on these systems and working closely with customers to educate them and assist them in their design of these components in their products. An ideal candidate will have interest in the whole software product development lifecycle while being an experienced Linux Systems Engineer with a strong desire to get involved in everything from the first-stage bootloader to user applications. The role requires someone who is a strong team player with good communication skills, and values knowledge sharing in a collaborative environment.
