Position Summary
Location:Role and Responsibilities
The role will work directly with the Memory Product Marketing & Channel Management teams, Sales, Operations, and category Business Manager in the administration of marketing expenses, sales deductions, and financial analysis for the Memory category. The person will learn to follow policy and guidelines, performing program reviews, and resolving financial and accounting issues. The position will actively participate in month-end closing, accounting duties, bulletin creation, and other financial various ad-hoc reports. The person will work independently, and considered a seasoned and experienced professional with adequate understanding of own job area.
Role & Responsibilities
The Financial Analyst will also be responsible to assist in the monthly forecasting for the category, including price protection, instant rebates, new price introductions, detailed marketing expenditure tracking, closely analyzing trends within the business, budget and actual expense tracking, pumi/condition submissions, bulletin executions among other items, in addition to ad-hoc financial tasks and reports
Perform month-end closing from a managerial standpoint, using SAP Controlling (CO) module while closely monitoring revenue/COGS recognition and expense allocation of various profit segments and cost centers
Data analysis of trends within business, shifts in retailer share, unit share, dollar share, NPD. Reports associated with business performance, YOY trends, MP attainment, market share, and others
Perform other finance or administrative support projects and tasks assigned by financial management
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
A minimum of 2 to 4 years of previous relatable experience in a finance, business, accounting, or related field
Strong business acumen; understanding commercial terms and potential impact and risk across business units
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work across departments to resolve urgent issues
Experience in business process review and analysis, including financial and operational analysis and audits
Advanced Excel skills
SAP or other ERP system experience is plus
