An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Portfolio Controls Lead (Capability) to join Rolls-Royce Submarines.
We’re a leader in propulsion system design and development for the Royal Navy’s nuclear submarine fleet and the sole provider and technical authority.
As part of the Portfolio Office Management team, the Portfolio Project Controls Lead (Capability) is responsible for the planning, delegation, monitoring and control of all aspects of Unity High Level Requirements 3 (Capability) and High-Level Requirements 4 (Licence to Operate) and the development and maintenance of the strategic delivery plan against the portfolio baseline.
Accountable to the Portfolio Contract and Performance manager, the Portfolio Controls Lead (Capability) will be responsible for controlling the performance of the portfolio with respect to High Level Requirements 3 (Capability) & 4 (Licence to Operate) in the context of the overall Performance, Cost and Time envelop. The role is required to maintain and develop the supporting portfolio resources, processes, policies, and leadership to integrate the portfolio to support the various DBU’s and functions requirements, to meet the customer and business needs.

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines, you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets, you must hold a UK nationality. Any dual nationals will require additional scrutiny and background checks prior to commencing work with RRSL.
