As an Electrical and Electronics Design Engineer, you'll Lead and drive from requirements to concept to a physical design. Support the development, detailed circuit design, testing and verification whilst ensuring safety is always accounted for. Lead and participate in the development, planning, implementation and adherence of policies and procedures to ensure that the activities considered during the life cycle of a system installation are carried out in a consistent and appropriate manner.
Your role will be vital to the development of engineering and test capabilities. Working within a multi-discipline design team, you will design new high integrity test equipment and experimental test systems.
We are therefore looking for a collaborative, adaptable and flexible team player who communicates well, possesses excellent IT skills and has a willingness to explore, learn and use new emerging digital technologies and software.
Ideally you should have carried out a similar role in a High Integrity Defence, Aerospace or Nuclear industries and have experience of the requirements in the nuclear sector.

Your needs are as unique as you are. Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home or another remote location. It’s a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. As a minimum we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets, you should hold a UK nationality. Any dual nationals will require additional scrutiny and background checks prior to commencing work with RRSL.
