As part of the Portfolio Office Management team, the Portfolio Risk Lead is responsible for the management of the risk and benefits management processes. They will lead activities to identify, assess and manage opportunities and threats to portfolio outputs and requirements with expected performance targets in the pursuit of the required Portfolio outcomes (High Level Requirements). In consort with this they will lead the process and activities required to identify, track and realise portfolio benefits.
Accountable to the Portfolio Risk Manager, the Portfolio Risk Lead will lead on the activities to identify, assess and manage opportunities and threats to portfolio outputs and requirements with expected performance targets in the pursuit of the required Portfolio outcomes (High Level Requirements). This role will be accountable for the day-to-day management of portfolio risk and benefits provide advice to the Portfolio Council on risk mitigation actions and manage all aspects of risk and benefits processes and reporting. The role is required to maintain and develop the supporting portfolio resources, processes, policies, and leadership to integrate the portfolio to support the various DBU’s and functions requirements, to meet the customer and business needs.

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets, you must hold a UK nationality. Any dual nationals will require additional scrutiny and background checks prior to commencing work with RRSL.
