At a time when the Infrastructure requirement for our business is growing and we have some very exciting large scale, complex construction projects coming up, the Rolls-Royce Submarines Business is looking for Senior Commercial and Contract Management specialists, for team and leadership roles to support a growing portfolio of facilities and infrastructure projects within our UK business.
Projects will be related to the construction of new nuclear and conventional infrastructure facilities as well as the repair or refurbishment of existing facilities. You will work in a range of fast-moving project teams including project management, project controls, engineering, HSE, group property and planning functions.
You will have commercial and contract management responsibility through the full project life cycle across a programme of works. Significant knowledge of NEC forms of contract and experience of procurement and commercial management using NEC forms of contract is a must. Leadership experience or appetite is also important as we require skills in project leadership and team leadership across our portfolio of construction projects.

As a minimum we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.
What you will be doing:
You will commercially manage high value/complex construction contracts, ensuring Rolls-Royce Submarines Business commercial risk is managed appropriately throughout the project lifecycle. You will be responsible for the delivery of a consistent and high quality commercial service from project inception through to execution an close out including procurement, budget management, commercial management, contract administration, commercial dispute management and commercial performance management.

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place.
