Job Title: Warehouse Assistant Reports To: Customer Operations Supervisor
Department: Customer Operations – Warehouse FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
LCA Title: Materials Control Worker
Summary: Move, store, distribute and ship materials, to both internal and external customers, by performing
the following duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Read work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine materials to be moved, gathered,
or distributed.
Move materials from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such
as product code.
Use computer to record amounts of materials moved.
Conduct daily cycle counts.
Load and unload truck shipments.
Drive company vehicle to move materials between main building and Distribution Center and
for miscellaneous errands.
Assemble and pack product to be shipped.
Perform receiving on incoming material.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
Focus on the Customer:
This position pulls material that is to be used in the production of finished goods. It is the key responsibility
of this position to pull the correct material. Failure to pull the correct material could result in products
being produced incorrectly.
This position is also responsible for shipping orders in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintaining excellent customer service must be a priority.
Employees in this position must be committed to meeting and exceeding customer expectations
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two - four
years of related experience and/or training.
Able to pass standardized color vision test, as required by test performed. Drivers license is also required.
This First Shift Position in Burlington, NC. Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
