07The Team:
S&P Global’s Investor Relations & Sustainability Solutions services the major listed companies globally, and in EMEA the sales team covers the major developed and developing markets from London, Paris and Frankfurt.
Duties & Accountabilities:
This role spans sales development and sales support activities across our EMEA Investor Relations & Sustainability Solutions sales team. You’ll be assisting the sales team by providing ground support to help drive ‘new logo’ & organic revenue growth helping us achieve and exceed business goals.
Main duties include, using a full suite of tools to develop pipeline you will run campaigns to engage with new prospects, undertake deep dive client discovery assessments, help build travel schedules for senior sales & work with marketing & strategy to help build and drive regional events such as roundtables.
Responsibilities:
Qualify incoming queries and prospects
Assist management with Salesforce queries and reporting
Intensive on-line research while identifying key decision makers from target firms
Conduct outbound /cold call & cold on-line engagements and develop leads / prospects and introduce qualified leads to the sales team as well as speaking with prospects who have attended events / requested information
Be creative and implement activities to contact new customers and generate new business
Accurately track leads & activities (calls, emails, meetings) using CRM
Take responsibility in centralising and coordinating the update and maintenance of sales materials across the regional sales teams
Produce periodic status and engagement reports
Ensure handoffs to sales are successful and exceed customer expectations.
Position’s Requirements:
Experience in dealing with customers and business partners
Fluency in English and (ideally) other European languages
German Speaker preferred, but not essential
Service oriented personality
Self-starter with energy and enthusiasm to achieve and exceed goals
Team player with ability to work independently
Flawless written and oral communication skills
Understanding of financial markets
Experience with customer management systems (ideally Salesforce
