About the Role:
Remitly is seeking a Program Manager to join the Geographic Expansion team. Based in London, you will report to the Principal Expansion Program Manager in Seattle, and be a critical driver to expanding Remitly’s footprint and deepening the global network. Collaborating with colleagues in Legal, Compliance, Business Management, Product, and other teams across Remitly’s global offices, the Expansion Program Manager will hold team members accountable to the expansion roadmap and implement improvements that enable Remitly to accelerate its pace of growth into new expansion opportunities.
You Will:
Scope and define launch requirements
Be the connective tissue between teams, ensuring a seamless end-to-end launch
Plan for dependencies and influence tradeoffs; you anticipate and mitigate against launch risks and blockers
Hold expansion team members accountable to the expansion roadmap and launch timelines
Lead program rituals including standups, monthly reviews, and retrospectives with a range of team members
Build and maintain project and program documentation
Develop streamlined processes that enable repetition and scalability
Identify, partner on, and advocate for opportunities to platformize the expansion program
Be able to work on multiple, concurrent project types and willing to support ad hoc needs as they arise
Creatively and independently solve emergent challenges
You Have:
5 years of experience overseeing complex projects, building and scaling process improvements, and working with diverse teams in an agile environment
Expertise in partner management and influence
Experience working in multicultural environments; you adjust your communication based on team member role type and background
Experience with project management tools
A data-centric approach to inform and guide decision-making
A willingness to travel to headquarters and other global office locations
