The head of sales communications role is of high strategic importance to the global marketing & communications team as we focus our efforts on sales enablement. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a communications strategy that your team of professionals will be able to get behind and that will help contribute to the sales culture at NXP. You will be part of the global digital marketing team, reporting into the head of digital marketing.
Your responsibilities will span several key areas, including:
Steering executive communications and content:
Develop clear and crisp positioning to guide messaging and other go-to-market strategies for our sales team
Create customer facing keynotes and materials, supported by the larger global communications team
Craft storylines to communicate value, and that can be applied and contextualized for different audiences and channels
Develop customer success story program & content
Assist in developing a high-performance sales culture
Coordinating sales related activities and projects:
Prioritize & filter requests into the sales exec team
Forge relationships with sales leaders globally & demonstrate an ability to be viewed as knowledgeable, credible resource by senior management
Regular reviews of user data to drive improvements and engagement in internal sales tools as well as consistency and quality in communications
Identify resources to support content creation and curation
Drive event related participation for the sales team
Coordinate and animate sales channels to bring value to the platforms
Coordinate and structure the mass market and eTailer activities
Managing the budget and resources:
Perform budgeting for sales communications, align needs with performance goals and track spend against budget
Establish and track KPIs for individual initiatives and programs, and for team performance against business goals
Provide executive-level transparency to investments and results
Qualifications:
BA/ MA degree in communications or related studies
15 years of relevant industry experience in marketing or communications
Must be a strong collaborator and drive effective relationships across other functional teams
Demonstrated ability to be viewed as a knowledgeable, credible resource by senior management
Excellent writing and editing skills
Superior presentation & analytical skills
Must be able to deliver clear, compelling and articulate written and verbal communications
