Job Descrption
Responsible for on-time delivery of talent to the business by effective utilization of sourcing strategies
• Building trusted partnerships with business and HR stakeholders; understand and cater to the hiring needs, capabilities and knowledge requirements & gaps. • Lead the delivery of a seamless recruitment process to the organization; effectively contributing to the process improvement measures essential for future HR transformations • Developing and nurture potential leads through relevant hiring communities and events • Generating brand recall for Maersk as an Employer of Choice • Advocate and champion diversity and university hiring initiatives to enable Maersk to achieve its diversity ambition • Talent Advisor to the business on talent demographics, market and competitor intelligence • Emiratization and university relations focal • Oversees the development and continuous improvement of strategic nationalization program • Collaborates with senior management to develop and disseminate appropriate Emiratization policies and procedures, and advises internal stakeholders on the proper application of relevant policies and procedures • Participates in the review of regulations, policies and procedures to ensure that any barriers for UAE National employment are identified and reduced or removed • Serves as an advisor on regular and ad hoc reviews of HR programs, including compensation and rewards, job evaluation, and graduate recruitment programs • Works closely with the HR and People leaders to ensure that UAE National recruitment and development programs are prioritized • Sets nationalization targets and works with senior management to identify positions and departments to be filled exclusively with UAE Nationals • Collaborates with Leadership team to develop programs that encourage the recruitment of UAE Nationals • Advises on UAE National employee relations issues • Develops and maintains accurate records, reports and documentation pertaining to Emiratization-related initiatives • Leads the organization of Emiratization campaigns and events within the community as required • Builds and maintains relationships with external partners and vendors • Produces metrics and reporting analysis for senior management as required • Keeps abreast of developments in the field by engaging in professional development activities
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
A bachelor's degree or post-graduate qualification in Human Resources, or other relevant discipline
A minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant experience, out of which 3 years in Talent Acquisition and Attraction
Previous experience strategically developing and or executing nationalization programs.
Knowledge of computer literacy and demonstrated experience working with sophisticated HR ERP platforms.
Current knowledge of industry practices, trends, and issues
Superior interpersonal skills as demonstrated by the ability to form professional relationships at all levels within the organization and with appropriate external stakeholders
Advanced communication and presentation skills
Leadership skills as exhibited by experience in effectively leading senior stakeholders
Experience developing budgets and implementation
Work experience within a multi-cultural environment a plus
Knowledge of manpower planning, organizational design is desirable
Interviewing skills
Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic is essential
