A bit about the job:
Within this role, the successful candidate will be Reporting to the Senior Governance and operational Risk Manager of Real Assets Investment and working closely with all teams within the Aviva Investors Real Assets business, as well as partnering with teams such as the AI Operations. The scope of this role covers this full range of capabilities across the UK and continental Europe, and spans the services, governance, operational risk processes and the technical and data aspects which underpin the delivery of the products. You will report and escalate events as identified and you will monitor implementation against policy requirements. Alongside this, you will also be working with SMEs (including outsourcing partners) and the Risk & Governance team to identify areas of risk where controls may require strengthening.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Technical background or capability of technology tools, early adopter e.g. O365 Apps, Qlik, etc
Previous experience of RED database, iCare and Ariba
Great engagement and influencing skills, recognising the importance of developing strong relationships with stakeholders to achieve results and having the confidence to challenge the business in an appropriate way.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Sharepoint, Powerpoint, etc).
