We have a fantastic opportunity for an Insurance Account Handler to join our Worthing team. This is a great job for someone with an interest in the Insurance, Finance and/or Risk industries and are looking to build a long-lasting, successful career working for one of the UK’s leading Insurance, Wealth and Retirement businesses.
There will be occasional requirement for travel to our London office so the individual within this role will need to be career driven, flexible and keen to excel their career.
A bit about the job:
We’re building a Centre of Excellence to provide a comprehensive service which aids our Multinational Centre of Excellence. This will include building a successful network of internal and external relationships; responding to a variety of enquiries and meeting high standards to ensure customer satisfaction. You will be key to achieving our business goals and will:
- Collaborating with our Multinational and Trading Underwriting teams in London to deliver end-to-end policy management for large, complex corporate risks
- Delivering business-important metrics alongside our management team
- Spotting and driving opportunities for operational improvements
- Acting on feedback from customers and sharing ideas with managers and peers
- Taking personal responsibility for development in line with business strategy
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Previous experience of account management / handling gained from working with an insurer or broker
- Strong customer service ethos and focus, including proven relationship building and communication skills
- Ability to work to challenging and complex customer servicing demands
- Experience using Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Guidewire, and Iris
- Strong attention to detail with a positive attitude towards embracing change
