We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Insurance Risk Manager to join our team. This is a newly crafted role which would be perfect for a highly motivated and technically astute General Insurance expert to join a varied, agile and visible team in driving and influencing the appropriate understanding and management of risks and opportunities across the insurance risk foundations within Aviva Insurance Limited’s (AIL) UK general insurance entity.
A bit about the job:
Working across the business to support the Head of Technical Insurance Risk and the Risk Business Partners, you will provide key expertise to identify, coordinate and partner the business on its risks and opportunities with a focus on the more technical aspects of insurance risk. This will include leading, reviewing, challenging and providing opinions on underlying methodology and key assumptions; understanding and providing insight on the quality of the underlying data and the available management information behind pricing, reserving, exposure management, reinsurance and capital management; and contributing to key risk reports. Supporting targeted deep dives on emerging risk themes is also a key aspect of this role.
This role ultimately supports the Aviva Insurance Limited’s Chief Risk Officer the Risk Business Partners and Insurance Risk Leads to provide oversight across AIL, ensuring the continuing effectiveness of the Risk Management Framework.
