Operations & Governance Manager
Salary: National circa £45,000, London circa £55,000
We’re looking for enthusiastic, agile and determined Operations & Governance Manager who wants to apply their knowledge of operational excellence in a team with a big role to play in the group’s strategic ambitions. The role would suit someone with a background in Operations, Governance and Change management. Skills in data would also be a particular advantage.
A bit about the job:
You’ll be working a business in Aviva’s Group Centre, attached to the Finance function. You will be supporting the Head of Governance & Operations (1st line of defence) and the rest of the team enhance operational processes, manage compliance to the group’s governance frameworks, deliver insightful MI and help manage Change.
It’s a small team doing a big job and as a result you’ll get to work closely with teams and senior leaders across the group.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Experience with understanding and automating MI and Data, with the ability to present key facts and insight from detailed analysis
Experience in a PMO support function role or in supporting Change activity generally
Background in key governance frameworks (procurement, Change, operational resilience, data governance etc) desirable
Strong understanding of the Aviva business, and adaptable with the ability to work autonomously and within a team, comfortable taking ownership of tasks
Strong communication skills – both written and oral
** Occasional travel to London required

National salary circa £45,000, London salary circa £55,000, depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications
