ESG Investment Specialist – London
This is a great job for someone who is interested in driving the Liquid Market ESG and product agenda, operate across asset classes and ensure strategic projects get over the line.
A bit about the job:
This role will encompass three key functions:
ESG Product strategy: Ensuring the Liquid Market ESG Strategy applies consistently at asset class level.
Proposition Development: The candidate should have a strong understanding of the client base and market trends enabling them to steer proposition development.
Strategic project management: Coordinating the implementation of strategic projects at product level (eg ESG projects).
The role itself will require close collaboration with Investment, sales, marketing, compliance, ESG and legal teams alongside individual contributions.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Investment knowledge and ESG knowledge demonstrated by relevant professional qualification and/or experience.
IMC or equivalent; or recognized historical knowledge, experience and/or qualification.
CFA or equivalent qualification.
Strong knowledge of Financial Markets.
Strong industry product knowledge, allied with knowledge on upcoming product trends and industry innovations.

In this role you’ll be ‘Certified’ under the Financial Conduct Authority / Prudential Regulation Authority’s Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR). This means that we’ll need to complete some regulatory background checks on you before you take up your role and we’ll need to ask you some questions on an annual basis to make sure you remain ‘fit and proper’ and competent to carry out your role. We’ll provide training on what holding a SMCR role means when you join us and annually thereafter.
