London Markets Test Service Manager – Salary Circa £90,000.
We have an exciting opportunity for an inspirational senior test portfolio manager who has worked in London Market Insurance business to join our Release & Test community here at Aviva. We are investing in transforming our IT landscape in our Global Corporate Specialty Market and this is a critical role to shape and implement the Test Strategy.
A bit about the job:
As the London Markets Test Service Manager, you will be accountable for:
Leading the test team, embedding a quality first approach to testing, managing the delivery of the testing outcomes across London Markets. Understanding the risk landscape for this Market to enable timely test risk mitigations.
Being an advocate for continuous improvements, responsible for baselining the testing metrics to drive optimisation, efficiency, automation, and quality improvements to ensure customer outcomes are delivered. Making decisions based on quality analysis of data.
Be able to demonstrate strong collaboration skills with experience of working with senior Business & IT leaders. You can demonstrate you are an inspirational leader of a combined team of permanent and partner capability delivery quality outcomes.
Providing timely and concise stakeholder communications, reporting of progress and risks to the Head of Platform, IT Business Partner, Head of Release & Test, Business SME, and Product Owners.
Aviva operates a “smart working” policy meaning that we spend approximately half of our time working in an office this role is based in London.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
London Market Insurance experience and understanding of Lloyds Blueprint 2 programme is essential, including the various messaging and common data standards.
Experience implementing and maintaining test frameworks, data strategies and test automation roadmaps for both senior stakeholders and technical audiences.
Ability to engage with and manage suppliers across a complex environment, defining and implementing test processes in Aviva across multiple projects. Experience of mentoring and coaching both permanent and partner team members.
Establish positive stakeholder relationships by adopting a consultative approach and advanced understanding of test measurement and reporting.
In depth understanding of how to define & manage risks, issues & interdependencies as they relate to projects/programmes.

Salary circa £90,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
Bonus opportunity 12% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
