Technical Claims Specialist - Commercial Property
Salary - Up to £87600 (depending on experience and location)
Are you a Technical Property Claims Specialist, with experience of handling very large and complex commercial property claims? Our Technical Property Claims team is seeking a Technical Property Claims Specialist (Major and Complex Loss) to be a part of their team and handle property claims, both UK and overseas. Therefore, this role is ideal for you if you are seeking a challenging opportunity!
A bit about the job
The wider TCS Property team handles high value and complex property claims arising out of Aviva’s UK General Insurance property policies, both commercial and personal. You will be responsible for the managing complex and high value commercial property claims portfolio, as well as leading on dispute resolution and supporting quality assurance of claims.
Skills and experience we’re looking for
Experience of managing processes and procedures while actively seeking opportunities to improve them and maintaining efficient records for the benefit of the business
In-depth knowledge of social, economic, political, and legislative developments in respect of own business unit or discipline claims environment
Leadership, coaching and mentoring experience as role requires an ability to coach and mentor less experienced members of the team
Commercial approach with ability to build great relationships with customers, colleagues, and the market
Extensive experience in handling the most complex and highest value UK, International commercial property claims and delivering exceptional outcomes. Experience of handling claims on Xchanging preferred
Qualifications
Qualified solicitor with private practice experience and/or ACII qualified.

Salary of up to £87,600 (depending on skills, experience and qualifications).
