As a SMAI (Smart Manufacturing & AI) Operation Intelligence Manager – Scheduling and Simulation, at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be part of Micron’s Smart Manufacturing Team comprised of world class talent to innovate End To End Digital Twin solutions through scheduling systems, simulation solutions and data analytics insights to guide and make Fab critical decisions!
Your team will be located in US, Boise. You will be partnering with different departments and the global network of manufacturing sites to enable breakthrough solutions in the business. Craft and develop smart manufacturing and AI solutions in sophisticated factory scheduling, optimization and simulation that enable the achievement of industry leading manufacturing capability.
Develop high quality data analytics and applications that give insights and drive actions to enable management and manufacturing teams to make informed decisions.
Manage development priority based on business needs and mission.
Lead a team to explore new frontier ideas, concepts and technology and apply it to Micron to enable breakthrough solutions.
Work with senior management, different departments, and global manufacturing sites to identify optimization opportunities and deliver solutions to continuously improve production metrics.
Drive global teamwork, alignment, and benchmarking of scheduling and simulation solutions.
How To Qualify:
Possess a drive to make a difference and a passion for exploring new frontiers.
Be highly motivated, proactive, and have a strong work ethic. You should be able to lead, empower, and support a technical team, and collaborate effectively with people from different departments and cultural backgrounds.
Have the understanding and ability to develop and manage worldwide business processes.
Hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or other technical subject areas, or have equivalent professional work experience.
Have at least 5 years of working experience, with direct experience in semiconductor specifically passionate about fab scheduling, simulation, optimization, AI, and software development preferred.
Be proficient in English, both verbal and written. Chinese or Japanese speaker is preferred.
Be able and willing to travel overseas.
