Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors; wiping down surfaces such as countertops, tables, and machinery; and sanitizing restrooms, break rooms, and other communal areas.
Trash Removal: Empty trash bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas, adhering to company waste management procedures and safety guidelines.
Floor Care: Utilize industrial cleaning equipment, such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and pressure washers, to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors in various areas of the facility.
Reporting: Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or cleanliness concerns to the appropriate supervisor or management personnel promptly. Special Projects: Assist with special cleaning projects or tasks as assigned, such as post-construction cleanup, equipment maintenance, or emergency spill response.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience preferred in janitorial work.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals commonly used.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration.
Additional Requirements:
- Flexibility to modify assigned shift as needed to accommodate unique cleaning projects.
