Job Description
The Models & Analytics Manager will be helping to shape the Enterprise teams management and oversight of risk. The role will involve supporting the embedding of ss1/23 with non-financial models, validation of models developed within the team as well as providing insight to support management of risk within the business.
Key Role Responsibilities
Support the Models & Analytics team in undertaking deep dives, thematic reviews and projects as required
Support the monthly IFRS9 impairment process by providing input files and analysing output files used in the calculation of PD, LGD, EAD and ECL
Validation of IFRS9 models and credit decision scorecards developed within the wider team
Manage roll out of model risk requirements to non-financial models within Enterprise and providing oversight of these to relevant committees
Produce and analyse monthly reporting consolidating SME and Real Estate performance to drive oversight and insight
Produce and manage macroeconomic reporting to provide insight to senior stakeholders on how changes impact the portfolios and support proactive actions
Embed processes and controls to improve quality of credit data and critical processes within the team; work with stakeholders to better utilise new and any existing fintech initiatives
Deputise for Head of Risk Models & Analytics at committees as required
Qualifications
Skills & Experience
Technical
Solid understanding of tools and infrastructure at the forefront of reporting and analytics
Experience delivering analytics with Power BI, Ultrix or Tableau
Experience of working with credit decision models and working with third-party data vendors
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL server, SAS
Excellent excel skills
Knowledge of IFRS9, PD, LGD models
Experience in model development and/or validation
Skilled with visual design / data presentation
Experian with SME or Mortgage products
Interpersonal
Analytical thinker who can use initiative to problem solve and make recommendations
Customer focused approach to delivering solutions
Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
