The RoleReorg is looking for passionate Software Development Engineers to join our team. As part of the summer internship program, you will collaborate with experienced engineers to design, develop, and implement solutions that enable our users to navigate the complexities of global credit markets. The internship is a 10-week program beginning June 3rd, 2024 and running until August 16th, 2024.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new software features
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code that meets our high-quality standards
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and shared knowledge
- Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions
- Debug and fix bugs or performance bottlenecks
Qualifications
- Excellent problem analysis, problem solving, and issue resolution skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative, complex and highly technical team environment
- Strong foundational knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C#, Python, Java, PHP, etc
- Proficiency with a relational database such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, etc
- Ability to work as part of an agile development team
Nice-to-Have
- Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Laravel, Django, Flask, Spring, etc
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, etc
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices such as version control, continuous integration, and automated testing
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tooling such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Salt, Chef, etc
- Experience with at least one cloud infrastructure offering such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with code pipeline solutions such as Jenkins, TeamCity, CodeDeploy, etc
- Experience running software on Unix/Linux operating systems with Docker
