Job Description
What’s the opportunity?
As a Digital Marketing Executive at Smoothwall, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and management of our digital marketing initiatives to promote our brand, engage our target audience, and drive online growth. You will work closely with your marketing colleagues to implement strategies across various digital channels.
Here’s how you’ll do it:
- Digital Campaign Management: Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email marketing, content marketing, SEO, and paid advertising. Collaborate with colleagues to create engaging and effective campaign content.
- Social Media Management: Support the management of our organic and paid social media channels, including content creation, posting schedules, and audience engagement. Monitor, measure and respond to social media comments and messages.
- Website Management: Oversee and maintain the company website that is built on HubSpot, ensuring that it is up-to-date, user-friendly, and optimised for performance. Collaborate with our web developer and designers to implement necessary updates and improvements.
- SEO and SEM: Support SEO efforts by optimising website content for search engines to enhance organic visibility by utilising platforms such as SEMRush. Manage the pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns to increase website traffic and lead generation.
- Analytics and Reporting: Help monitor and analyse digital marketing performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Hubspot Reporting and marketing automation platforms. Contribute to the preparation of performance reports, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Customer Data Management: Implement and manage processes for collecting, storing, and securing customer data in compliance with GDPR. Work closely with the data protection officer to ensure the privacy and security of customer data.
- Content Performance Analysis: Monitor content performance metrics, such as engagement, reach, and conversion rates, and provide insights to optimise future content strategies.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends such as KCSIE, analyse the brand's audiences, competitors, and assess the end-to-end customer journey to enhance future content creation and distribution techniques. Stay abreast of the latest digital tools, platforms and digital marketing trends/technologies.
Qualifications
What will you bring?
- Demonstrable experience in digital marketing, developing email campaigns, SEO, SEM, briefing and working with creative designers
- Thorough knowledge of HubSpot, Google programs, social platforms and SEO analysis tools.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
You’ll have:
- Educated to degree level and at least 3 years experience essential - in a B2B demand generation environment desirable
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (desirable)
- Strong data analytics skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, diligence and follow-through
