Aker Carbon Capture is one of the leading companies globally that has extensive knowledge of the entire CCUS value chain. We have many ongoing projects, from research and innovation, including pilot plant testing, to concept studies and to large EPC projects, both in Europe and in the United States. Today, we are delivering seven carbon capture units in Europe, with an accumulated capture capacity of 1 million tonnes of CO2. In Denmark, we are delivering five Just Catch 100 units to Ørsted, in the Netherlands one Just Catch 100 unit to Twence, and in Norway a Big Catch to Heidelberg Materials.

Your responsibilities
- Be responsible for all Engineering activities and deliverables on CCUS projects with multi-location teams
- Be responsible for supervising Engineering Managers and engineering disciplines across multiple projects in NAM region
- Be responsible for coordination between Engineering and the other teams in the company
- Contribute to studies, product development and research projects
- Contribute to the development of cost-effective processes and products
- Contribute to standardization and general effective execution of CCUS projects
- Be responsible for providing input to, and implement CCUS technology in projects
Your qualifications
- Self-contained and motivated individual, with a passion for environmental projects
- A leader who can guide and motivate varied teams, with an expertise in iso, en and other international codes and standards
- Master's degree in relevant engineering discipline with minimum 10 years’ experience, preferably from onshore industrial projects, and 5 years’ experience in managing large, multi-discipline and multi-location engineering teams
- Flexible regarding work tasks and possible practical field work, as required
- Analytical mindset with a drive to bridge technical and commercial challenges
- Proven performance in result-oriented project culture, with a genuine drive to optimise the cost curve of the industry
- Fluent in written and spoken English
