Job Description

This is a key role within the global controlling and FP&A team and is newly created due to IFS’s expansion and increased IT spend.  The successful candidate will support the CIO function with regards to reporting & management of IT costs, driving and identifying improvements & efficiencies, and partner with the business in assessing IT investments.

• Responsible for P&L controllership of the Global IT function including: ownership of the IT P&L, reporting and analysing the consolidated view of actuals, producing and submitting forecasts and budget for Global IT costs.
• Foster IT cost ownership across the business, providing transparency and visibility of costs, and ensuring apprpropriate recharges & allocations (supported by Finance Analyst).
• Business partnering with the CIO and team:
• Support the IT function in making strategic business decisions by providing them with financial insight, modelling, working cross functionally on ad-hoc projects and ensuring IFS’s financial objectives are achieved.
• Pro-actively recommend improvements and efficiencies in processes and how IT spend is managed, including establishing project reporting.
• Partner with the CIO in assessing IT investments, assessing robustness of business cases and tracking benefits to ensure they are realised.
• Ensure financial policies are adhered to and provide guidance to CIO team and wider finance community on opportunities to maximise EBITDA.
• May be required to support other functional areas within the business with FP&A activities in order to drive efficiencies and improvements

Essential experience/qualifications:

• Previous experience as an IT Finance Business Partner/Analyst strongly preferred.
• at least 5 years experience in finance
• Experience within a large international corporate environment
• Strong Excel skills
• University degree-educated, preferably in the field of Finance or Mathematics (or equivalent training or work experience). CIMA or ACCA qualified.
• Fluent in English language
