Job Description

Position Summary:                                                 

We are seeking an SVP, Account Director Lead for our HCP/DTC business. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about building an exciting piece of business to achieve its vast potential along with a team to run and grow the business. This role is simultaneously strategic and hands-on.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Have a comprehensive understanding of HCP/DTC business and a thorough understanding of industry business trends. Be alert to changes in clients’ marketplace.
  • Have broad knowledge of what’s going on in the marketplace to offer solutions to clients.
  • Understand and monitor new and pipeline competitors – strengths, weaknesses, and areas of opportunity and threat for the client brand.
  • Understand agency revenue and profitability model and ensure revenue achievement associated with the current service offerings within the book.
  • Manage the Portfolio P&L with appropriate performance markers.
  • Provide clear, strategic vision to ensure flawless execution of existing projects and future business growth.  
  • Be responsible for new business opportunities and driving growth on assigned brands.
  • Develop and build personal relationships with key current and future clients to seek opportunities to showcase agency work.
  • Inspire, motivate, and develop current staff.
  • Provide necessary direction to shared resources – recruiting needs, financial analysis needs, etc.

Qualifications

  • An inspirational thought leader who can set expectations and make sound decisions for the team.
  • 15+ years relevant business experience, including 5+ years of management experience.
  • HCP/DTC experience.
  • Experience managing a large piece of business.
  • Adept at leading a large piece of business and integrating all groups seamlessly for the client.
  • Ability to work with inter-company agency partners and understand the complexities.
  • Ability to be hands-on, roll up the sleeves, and lean into the work.
  • Strong operational experience—build process for managing workflow on an account with a heavy deliverable cadence.
  • Demonstrate openness to new possibilities and ways of thinking.
  • Digitally savvy with deep traditional experience, including print and creative.
  • CRM/Relationship Marketing experience.  

Additional Information

Compensation Range:  $167,700 - $269,500 annually.  This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
