Job Description

Are you an expert in taking projects from planning to delivery, with a passion for all things Tech and Digital? We're looking for a Senior Delivery Manager who is ready to take the helm of medium-sized engagements, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, on budget, and meet client needs.

Our Senior Delivery Manager is the go-to person for clients and team members alike. You'll be the primary client delivery contact, managing project scope, creating and managing the project plan, and providing direction to all members of the project team with a hands-on approach. You'll be responsible for maximising revenue by meeting project margin targets and contributing to our business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define responsibilities, set direction, and allocate tasks within the project team.
• Develop project proposals and manage change management processes.
• Apply your knowledge of external market issues and our business plan to guide your team.
• Motivate others in your team to come up with new ideas and initiatives.
• Develop and coach your team to ensure all members perform well.
• Handle escalation of issues to senior staff when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Delivery Manager in a web/digital consulting environment.
• Experience managing marketing, creative, or technology projects.
• Proven skills in managing project teams of 5-10 people to successful conclusion.
• Excellent client-facing communications skills.
• Ability to put administrative structure and organization in place on new or existing projects.
• Ability to turn requirements into a viable project plan and marshal the resources required to deliver.
• A background in development or a demonstrable understanding of technical complexity.

Desirable:

• A degree demonstrating analytical capability.
• A software engineering or QA background.
• Scrum Alliance or other Agile accreditation.
